The ThermoJoe™ Travel Mug was designed for the active on-the-go person. There are no complicated apps or settings, and the removable power supply allows for additional heating if necessary and interchange it with the desk mug. The lid was designed to reduce the chance the fingers might contaminate the drinking area and lock in place to prevent leaking in your backpack, purse, or briefcase. The body of the Travel Mug uses 6 insulating layers with Electra bond coating on the outside and Ceramic fusion coating on the inside.

Disappointing Product and Zero Customer Support

I bought the ThermoJoe Travel Mug as a Christmas gift for my wife. She has an hour-long commute every morning, and I wanted her to enjoy a hot coffee when she got to work. After watching several glowing video reviews, it seemed like the perfect gift. Unfortunately, it’s been a complete disappointment.

Within the first week, the power base started showing issues. It didn’t fit tightly, often feeling loose and even coming off in the car’s cup holder once. Then, I noticed it wasn’t charging fully overnight. Thinking it might be a problem with the cord, I swapped it out for a newer one, but that didn’t fix the issue.

Another frustration is the buttons on the base unit—they don’t click when pressed, so there’s no way to know if they’re actually working. As a result of all these problems, the mug didn’t keep coffee hot for more than an hour or two, far from the “all day” performance promised in the reviews.

When I decided to reach out for help, I discovered that ThermoJoe’s customer service is nonexistent. The only option is a form on their website—there’s no phone number to call or real person to speak to. I submitted the form four times over two weeks and haven’t received any response. At this point, I’d love to get a refund for the $140 I spent, but it’s clear this company doesn’t prioritize customer satisfaction.

Don’t be fooled by the promotional videos claiming this is a great product. It’s not, and you’ll regret buying it like I did. Save your money and look elsewhere.

It was a little frustrating that it took so long to get in contact with customer service but ThermoJoe went above and beyond to fix the problem that I had with my order! I love my mug and has worked great so far!
